DESCRIPTION
Memantine Canon is a non-competitive N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonists. By selective binding to the NMDA receptors Memantine blocks the excitotoxic effects, excitation and overstimulation associated with abnormal glutamatergic transmission, thus preventing damage to those receptors, while allowing physiological transmission associated with normal cell functioning. Regulating excessive glutamate activity Memantine prevents disturbed glutamate neurotransmission that leads to the development of cognitive and psychiatric disorders.

Excipients:
colloidal silica (Aerosil) – 3mg, calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate – 50.4mg, croscarmellose sodium (primelloza) – 3mg, lactose monohydrate – 136mg, Magnesium stearate – 1.6 mg, Povidone – 6mg.
The composition of the coating film:
selekoat AQ-02003 (hypromellose – 3.6mg, macrogol – 6000 – 1.2mg, titanium dioxide – 1.2mg) – 6 mg.
Recommendations for use:
The drug should be taken oraly with meals in the morning. The initial dose for the 1st week is 10mg/day, 2nd week – 20mg/day, 3rd week – 20-30mg/day. If it is required – increase the dose for 10mg every week till the maximum 30mg/day.

Store in dry place at room temperature. Do not exceed storage temperature higher than 25 degrees Celcius. Keep away from direct sunlight. Keep locked and away from children.
